Who we are

SlackQ is a booking platform for slackline festivals. When we say "we", "us" or "our", we mean SlackQ, the data controller responsible for your personal data.

What data we collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:

• Account information — your email address and display name.
• Booking data — which time slots and workshops you book, including timestamps.
• Technical data — server logs that may contain your IP address and request details. These are retained for a limited period for security and debugging purposes.

We do not collect any data beyond what is listed above. We do not build profiles, track browsing behaviour, or use analytics services.

Why we process your data

We process your data on the basis of contract performance (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)): you create an account to book slots at festivals, and we need your data to provide that service. Server logging is based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) in maintaining security and availability.

Cookies

We use only strictly functional cookies required for the application to work:

• A session cookie that keeps you logged in while you use the app.
• A remember-me cookie so you don't have to log in every time you visit.

We do not use any analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies. No cookie banner is needed because all cookies are exempt under the ePrivacy Directive (Art. 5(3)).

Who has access to your data

• Festival organisers can see the name and email of members who are part of their event, as well as their bookings.
• Scaleway processes transactional emails (login links, invitations) on our behalf.

We do not sell or share your data with any other third parties.

Data retention

Your account and booking data is kept as long as your account exists. Server logs are retained for a limited period and automatically rotated.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access your personal data (Art. 15)
• Correct inaccurate data (Art. 16) — you can update your email and name in your account settings
• Delete your account and all associated data (Art. 17)
• Export your data in a portable format (Art. 20)
• Object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21)
